Kirton Engineering has recently released a novel new non-chemical water treatment system for evaporative cooling tower systems.
The system employs existing technology without the use of water treatment chemicals
- uses household salt as the only chemical addition to provide a disinfection system
- Membranes control scale and corrosion using the Langelier saturation index
The key benefits are:
- No hazardous or toxic chemicals used
- Fully automatic
- Low maintenance
- Compliant with recommendations stated in "The Control of Legionella bacteria in water system" (L8)
